This web site analyzes vegetation data collected by the National Park Service in the Columbia Basin and Greater Yellowstone Region. Data presented here are abundances of principle native and non-native species, measured as Daubenmire cover classes. To find out more, visit our publications page.
If you choose a range of years, then you must choose a cover class threshold.
Thresholds are minimum values. If, for example, you choose a threshold of Greater than 0%, your results will show the % of plots containing AT LEAST 1-5% cover OR MORE.
If you pick the same year twice, then your threshold choice will be ignored and all cover classes will be presented.
